PINOY POP IS IN!
AVANT-POP MUSIC is an independent record label which produces albums that meld the POP (that which is popular, accessible, and listener-friendly) with the AVANT-GARDE (that which breaks new ground and stretches the boundaries). Formed at the turn of the millenium by multimedia artist Khavn Dela Cruz, Avant-Pop Music learns from the history of pop while projecting itself into the future. APM seeks to unearth the Pinoy music scene and to present to the public its hidden gems. APM focused on the art and craft of the pop song manifested through the traditional vocal format and the unconventional spokenword-poetry and instrumental guises. APM brings forth new pop hits by riding though the formulas pop has created while questioning its definition at the same time.
