<b>Danielle Dax "Bed Caves"</b>

大美女Danielle Dax有点让我不明白，这第一张第一首就这么spicy味道正点口感刺激，咋后面若干年尽出一些不咸不淡New Wave跳舞，冲着她使出当年流行的喉头颤声（Liz Fraser和Siouxsie Sioux那种……），听听也行。不过这第一首呀第一首"Bed Caves"真是好的，后朋音场盘踞之上仿中东调调左右刺杀，词就三句，“Today's not the same as before/Starting with a clean slate/Promises of new rewards”，清亮激越人声一出，剑指处花尸尽坠。

<b>Toyah "Prostitute"</b>
["Prostitute", 1988]
Robert Fripp底老婆~~娘家姓Willcox，姿色尚可，主要是会打扮。要一条式子概括她音乐生涯，说是Danielle Dax加Kate Bush除二没问题吧？又因为夫君的缘故，沾点Prog架式也正常（更别提91年夫唱妇随之结晶Sunday All Over The World一队）。看她这么多年出了这么多专辑，让人记得住的歌真真是少，除了她五颜六色的发型和那次那一边酥胸 ，不妨读读"Prostitute"的词，到底有点接近她的自描了——我的印象。

<b>Cath Carroll "Jimmy's Candy"</b>
["True Crime Motel", 1995]
无论是在Unrest那张《Perfect Teeth》还是她自己这第二张个专封面上，她的照片总是跟其音乐气质不搭边，更扯不上以她为偶像的Unrest男士Mark Robinson。但是在后者的力邀之下诞生这样一张温婉清丽的Alternative Pop，还真是颇令人意外呢。作为80年代Indie/New Wave风潮中走出来的一员，她的头张album《England Made Me》碟如其名（比Black Box Recorder早得多吧），淡雅又artsy的New Wave舞曲之外特别值得留意的还有一股子Sophisti-Pop氛香。这第二张更了不得，让人欲大呼“杂交得好”，不英不美，就是神思暗涌摇曳的Alternative Pop，仿似指尖在桌面踩舞步；又如"Jimmy's Candy"的香颂气压和以背景里的Ethereal味碎光吉他高积云，放眼望去，将又是个“明日晒谷不用翻”的明媚晴日。

<b>Toyah "The Vow (acoustic)"</b>
["The Acoustic Album", 1995]
再放个Toyah的凑数吧，但歌本身绝对不凑数。95年翻唱自己83年大碟《Love Is The Law》中的名作"The Vow"，acoustic曲风一洗旧时得意飞扬，换得一脸伤痕派女唱作人哀戚又不甘，人老了声音也跟着进入中年，更像Siouxsie Sioux之余，可贵的是底子里那层洞世的神色。
