Doctorial, more than 4 years, (Thesis is needed)
Personally, it is very hard to stay in France after you finish you study, if you select this subject. I recommend staying in China for your further study highly. If you just wanna go abroad, it will be around the corner.
Language course will cost you less than 1K Euro,
before you go to France, first you have get an offer/admission from a Ground Ecole/Universite, second, you have to get a housing proof, third, a proof for your first year's living cost, without any of these 3 things, you won't get the visa.
