Verify the BSC preference option during an Originating call.
2 TEST ENVIRONMENT
For this test we need a network with one SSP, one HLR,one SIMSN7 simulator
for mobile BTS and BSC simulation, a VMSC and a GMSC.
At least one analyser (K11 or K12) that knows CAP V2 and MAP V3 dialogs.
3 INITIAL CONDITIONS OF TEST
The initial conditions of test must match within configuration sheet
MSAMX000.
4 PRECAUTIONS AND CONSTRAINTS
OPTIONS TO SET IN RCP FOR AMR FUNCTION :
Theses options must be set in the GMSC of the owner PLMN
PB_F_RM_001 = TRUE (support of half rate channels)
PB_F_RM_005 = TRUE (support of speech multi version)
PB_F_RM_007 = TRUE (MSC supports circuits pools)
P2B_F_RM_013 = TRUE (AMR function is supported by MSC)
P2B_F_CG_056 = TRUE (AMR information are stored in the CDR)
PB_F_CG_023 = TRUE (Speech version info are stored in the CDR)
5 PROCEDURE
TEST N?01
BSC PREFERENCE : HALF RATE SPEECH VERSION3
SCRIPT:
- MCLRX059 for MSb localisation
- MCCLX173 for sending a SETUP berarer capability defined in V21
- MCTCX501 for the Terminating Call
TEST DESCRIPTION:
We assume that the speech version supported by MS in preference order are the
following:
- Full Rate Version v3
- Full Rate Version v2
- Full Rate Version v1
- Half Rate version V3
- Half Rate version V1
These data have been set inside the SETUP message send by MS to RCP during
the start of the call.
Associated to the simulated BSC used, we have to modify the SSP configuration
in the aim to obtain at less 10 streams of CIC, each with a value of TRAU.
