"... more snow forecast this weekend. it was like spring on monday. what's going on? the north american release of 'like the deserts miss the rain' on rhino is still on track for the first week of march. and there will definitely be a limited edition bonus CD issued with the first run. the bonus tracks will be the RARITIES gun cupboard love, alfie, take me (clifton mix) and pigeons in the attic room. it took a while to find the original master tapes of one or two! we have a re-designed message board for 2003 and it is much fresher and interactive. ben's club, cherry jam, is one year old in februrary. time flies. i know many of you still hang onto the hope of a new ebtg album soon, but as i have said before, this is unlikely at the moment. i am completely out of the music business at the moment, and have turned down many offers to sing for several projects. there will no tours in the foreseeable future either. however, ben is working on a new side project, a new album possibly, with other performers. i may well contribute in part to the project. ben is also immersed in his djing and to my mind, has turned out some of the best productions he has ever done lately - especially the remix for meshell ndegeocello last year... |
